Job summary

Kepak Group is hiring a Trainee Supervisor to lead the Retail Packing Hall operations, ensuring KPI targets are met and the production plan is delivered by the team. You will manage line requirements, quality control and data input while liaising with support teams.

The role is hands-on with a focus on Safety, Quality, GMP and continuous improvement, with shifts 6:00 AM–4:00 PM or 4:00 PM–2:00 AM and limited public transport access.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising a team within production or warehouse is desirable.
• Exhibit strong leadership qualities at all times.
• Proactively drive down costs through innovative solutions and commit to continuous improvement.
• Take initiative by identifying tasks that need attention without waiting for direction.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operation of retail packing production lines and teams within the Retail Packing Hall ensuring that all KPI's are achieved.
• Lead the team by working with the team and communicate actual line requirements to the production team.
• Ensure production plan is delivered so customers get what they want, when they want it, within specification.
• Maintain safety, quality, GMP and general good work ethic as a role model for the reporting line.
• Proactively liaise with support teams, minimise downtime and ensure clear communication.
• This is a hands-on role where you will lead the team by working with the team.
