Job summary

Kepak Ballybay is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations in a fast-paced meat manufacturing environment. The role focuses on achieving targets safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards while fostering a positive, engaged team culture.

You will oversee production activities, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with maintenance, planning, and warehouse teams to drive continuous improvement and operational success.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, FMCG, or a similar production environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and production systems.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Drive high standards of food safety, quality, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production performance, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Promote a strong health & safety culture and ensure safe working practices are followed.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production teams to maximise performance and engagement.
• Track key KPIs including output, efficiency, waste, downtime, and quality.
• Work closely with maintenance, planning, and warehouse teams to support operational success.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and cost control.
