Job summary

TJ O' Mahony in Castlemungret Industrial Estate, Mungret, Limerick, is seeking a Permanent, Full-Time Trade Counter Sales Person to join our team. You will provide product knowledge of building materials, plumbing products and power tools. Hours are 40 per week (Mon–Sat).

Experience in merchandising and customer service is desired; training on our in-house IT system is provided. We offer career progression and employee discounts at Ireland's leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY

Qualifications

• Experience in product merchandising.
• Maintaining professional merchandising standards, including ensuring correct labelling, pricing and complementary product placements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills.
• Motivated with ability to work on own initiative.
• Friendly, helpful attitude.
• Experience in Sales, both Trade and Retail an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Suppliers.
• Provide excellent customer service, dealing with customer phone and/or counter queries.
• Preparing quotations.
• Use of the In-House IT Software System.
• Carrying out any additional duties as required to meet business requirements.
• Handling customer collections.
• Ensuring customers are serviced in an efficient and timely manner.
