Job summary

Flynn's Hardware is seeking a friendly, reliable person for a full-time Trade Counter position in Ireland. You will serve trade customers, process sales, and provide expert advice on hardware and home improvement products.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking ability, and a customer-focused mindset. On-site parking and a store discount are offered, with pay starting at €14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a trade counter, builders merchant, hardware, retail, or customer service role is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Good product knowledge of hardware, building materials, or home improvement products is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders and transactions.
• Confident using computer systems, point-of-sale software, and customer accounts.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong team ethic.
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to providing excellent service.
