Job summary

Elite Talent Hub LTD is seeking a Trade Counter Sales Representative for their Cork store. You will be the face of the business, helping customers with building materials and DIY needs, advising on products, processing sales, and supporting stock management.

You will work closely with warehouse and yard teams to fulfil orders, maintain a well-organized, clean store, and deliver exceptional service. Comprehensive training will be provided to develop product knowledge and IT system skills.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing/heating/building materials beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented approach.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand and meet needs.
• Gain and share knowledge about products to advise customers effectively.
• Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and fully stocked.
• Assist with inventory checks and stock management tasks.
• Work closely with warehouse and yard teams to fulfill orders efficiently.
