Primtac Personnel LTD in Dublin 24 is recruiting an experienced Trade Counter Salesperson for a busy branch in Ballymount. You will be the first point of contact for trade customers, providing product advice and processing sales.

This hands-on role combines counter sales, order coordination, and light warehouse support, with a focus on HVAC and refrigeration products. The position offers a competitive salary, training, and clear progression within a well-established company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a trade counter or counter sales role.
• Strong product knowledge of HVAC units and/or refrigeration equipment.
• Confident with IT systems (POS, email, basic spreadsheets).

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist trade customers at the counter, by phone, and via email.
• Recommend and sell HVAC/refrigeration units, parts, and accessories based on customer requirements.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and handle payments accurately.
• Check stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and maintain a tidy counter and showroom.
• Liaise with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Build strong relationships with local contractors and repeat-trade customers.
• Meet sales and service targets while delivering excellent customer experience.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist trade customers at the counter, by phone, and via email
• Recommend and sell HVAC/refrigeration units, parts, and accessories based on customer requirements
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and handle payments accurately
• Check stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and maintain a tidy counter and showroom
