Job summary

Force Recruitment and Outsourcing is seeking a Territory Manager – Surgical & Anaesthesia to drive sales growth across a designated territory and build strong relationships with surgeons, anaesthetists, and procurement teams. The role requires a proactive medical sales professional able to develop territory plans, provide clinical support, and travel to hospitals to progress opportunities.

You will deliver product demonstrations, support theatre procedures, and ensure high standards of service

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed territory sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan to maximise opportunities.
  • Identify new business opportunities within public and private hospitals.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre staff, and procurement teams.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to promote products and services.
  • Prepare quotations and support contract and tender opportunities where required.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.

Territory Manager – Surgical & Anaesthesia
Position Summary

The Territory Manager – Surgical & Anaesthesia is responsible for driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, and providing product support across a designated territory. The role focuses on promoting a portfolio of surgical and anaesthesia products to hospitals, healthcare professionals, and procurement teams while delivering exceptional customer service and clinical support.

The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing customer partnerships, and work collaboratively with clinical and commercial stakeholders to achieve sales objectives. This position requires a proactive, customer-focused professional with strong commercial acumen and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • tAchieve and exceed territory sales targets and key performance indicators
  • .Develop and implement a territory business plan to maximise market opportunities
  • .Identify new business opportunities within public and private hospitals
  • .Maintain and grow relationships with surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre staff, clinical nurse specialists, procurement teams, and hospital management
  • .Conduct regular customer visits to promote products and services
  • .Prepare quotations and support contract and tender opportunities where required
  • .Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting
Clinical Product Suppor
  • tProvide product demonstrations and in-service education to healthcare professionals
  • .Support clinicians during product evaluations and theatre cases where appropriate
  • .Deliver technical product expertise and clinical guidance to customers
  • .Ensure customers receive ongoing product training and support following implementation
  • .Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
Account Managemen
  • tBuild long-term strategic partnerships with key healthcare accounts
  • .Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
  • .Develop account plans to increase product adoption and market share
  • .Monitor competitor activity and communicate market intelligence to management
Territory Managemen
  • tEffectively manage travel schedules and customer appointments across the territory
  • .Maintain accurate customer records using the CRM system
  • .Prepare regular activity reports, sales updates, and business reviews
  • .Participate in sales meetings, product training, and industry conferences
