Job summary

Marsh Mackey, a busy family-run food company based in Meath, is seeking a dynamic, customer-driven telesales and orders coordinator. You will handle inbound and outbound calls and emails from customers across Ireland, confirm product details and enter orders accurately.

You will maintain stock and customer information, liaise with warehouse and delivery teams, and provide admin support to the Managing Director.

Qualifications

• Experience in telesales or customer service.
• Ability to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails from existing and prospective customers across Ireland.
• Take customer orders accurately, confirming product details, quantities, pricing, availability and delivery requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers by providing prompt, helpful and professional service.
• Advise customers on product availability, suitable alternatives, new products and current promotions.
• Enter sales orders promptly and maintain accurate customer, contact and delivery information on the company system.
• Respond to order and customer queries, escalating more complex issues when required.
• Maintain accurate product, pricing, stock and customer information across business systems.
• Monitor stock availability and flag low stock or unusual demand to colleagues.
• Ensure orders are allocated against available stock and raise discrepancies before delivery planning.
• Prepare regular stock, order and sales reports to support decision-making.
• Prepare and check delivery notes and dispatch documentation.
• Liaise with warehouse, delivery and transport colleagues to schedule orders.
• Keep customers informed of delivery arrangements and changes.
• Record proof-of-delivery information and handling of returns or shortages.
