Job summary

Production Equipment Europe is a leading distributor recruiting an Order Management Specialist to work at our Galway head office. You will build strong customer relationships, process orders and enquiries, and support sales colleagues.

The role requires strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities and delivering first-class customer service. Multinational exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Technical or production experience is a distinct advantage.
• Experience working with multinational organisations preferred.
• Ability to identify customer needs and maximise sales opportunities.
• Confidence discussing product benefits and features.
• Good communication, organisational and administration skills.
• Flexible and pro-active attitude.
• Willingness to embrace new ideas/initiatives.
• Desire to deliver first-class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inform customers on technical benefits of our products.
• Support external sales colleagues to ensure high level of customer service.
• Document and escalate customer issues or trends as required.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and materials.
• Produce weekly and monthly reporting through SAP.

We are currently recruiting for a Order Management Specialist, to work at our head office in Galway to play a critical role in maintaining and providing resources to the growing number of customer clients internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop good business relationships with new and existing customers.
• Processing customer purchase orders and enquiries.
• Manage and process customer enquiries by both phone and email.
• Identify opportunities to up and cross sell products as per customer requirements.
• Inform customers on the technical benefits of our products.
• Work and support external sales colleagues to ensure high level of customer service.
• Recognise, document and elevate customer issues or trends following appropriate communication and escalation channels where required
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and keeping up to date on product material.
• Weekly & Monthly reporting through SAP

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a similar role.
• Technical and or Production experience is a distinct advantage.
