Zohorecruit is seeking a Technical Writer to lead documentation for a legacy system re-engineering and re-platforming project in Dublin. You will document the current native application, define the future web-based architecture, and produce user manuals, API docs and admin guides.

You will collaborate with architects and developers throughout the lifecycle, maintain the documentation style guide, and support knowledge transfer with training materials and presentations.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in software development.
• Experience documenting complex systems, especially legacy modernization.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience with Swagger and Postman.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Technical Writing, or related field.

Aufgaben

• Document the Current State: analyze and document the existing legacy system architecture, functionality and user workflows.
• Define Future State Documentation: determine types, audiences, and structure for the new web-based application.
• Develop and Maintain Documentation: create user manuals, API documentation, system administration guides, and release notes.
• Collaborate with Development Team: work closely with developers to reflect changes and participate in reviews and testing.
• Manage Documentation Review and Approval: ensure quality and stakeholder sign-off.
• Maintain Documentation Style Guide: ensure consistency across all materials.
• Support Knowledge Transfer: create and deliver training materials and presentations.
