Job summary

Kota is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Ireland to own the operational health of our platform. You will act as the technical front line, debugging production issues, reading logs, and coordinating with engineering to resolve bugs while maintaining strong partner relationships.

You will collaborate with product and operations, drive clear status updates, and help improve monitoring and runbooks for faster future resolutions.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of technical support in B2B SaaS or API-first companies.
• Ability to read and debug code (TypeScript/Node.js/.NET/Postgres).
• Strong REST API knowledge and authentication flows.
• Proficient with SQL and data investigation.
• Experience with ticketing/escalation tools (Intercom, Linear, Jira, Zendesk).
• Excellent written communication and high ownership mindset.
• Experience with observability tools and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Own customer and partner issues end-to-end, meeting defined SLAs.
• Investigate data mismatches, integration failures, and edge cases via logs and SQL.
• Implement safe fixes and escalate larger engineering work with context.
• Serve as triage layer between customer-facing tools and engineering.
• Engage as a technical contact for support and success teams.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and runbooks for faster resolution.
