Job summary

Cohesity Ireland is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to resolve data protection issues across traditional platforms, cloud, and databases, collaborating with engineering and account management to deliver solutions.

The ideal candidate has enterprise support experience in storage, networking and virtualization, strong OS knowledge, and the ability to clearly articulate diagnostics to customers. A CS-related degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking or related field (or MS equivalent).
• Experience delivering enterprise technical support for storage, networking, and virtualization environments.
• Strong OS knowledge and ability to analyze diagnostics and communicate issues clearly.
• Experience with debugging tools (tcpdump, strace, Wireshark).
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Work with Cohesity customers to provide timely resolution to technical issues.
• Investigate and troubleshoot using available tools.
• Record customer interactions and resolutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and account management teams.
• Develop knowledge base articles and self-service content.
• Communicate recommendations on product readiness for new features.
