Job summary

Elite Talent Hub is seeking a Technical Services Lead for a large pharmaceutical site in Co. Cork. You will manage building and engineering services on site and lead a facilities maintenance team in a regulated environment.

This hands-on leadership role requires experience in critical environments, strong EH&S knowledge, and the ability to deliver a cost-effective PM programme while meeting KPIs and SLAs. On-site role with international provider and clear career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical environments such as pharma/manufacturing.
• Background in building services and plant engineering.
• Proven track record leading a maintenance team and meeting SLAs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of water hygiene regulations.
• Awareness of CMMS systems (Maximo) and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage Hard FM services on site and oversee the maintenance team.
• Lead building/engineering services, plant and equipment management.
• Deliver cost-effective planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Own Permit to Work and safe systems of work for all tasks.
• Act as Authorised Person for specified systems and train staff.
• Manage contractors, consultants and performance against standards.
• Meet KPIs and SLAs; run technical services meetings.
• Develop and manage energy policies for the site.
• Lead root cause analyses and risk assessments.
• Promote a strong safety culture with zero accidents.
• Ensure compliance with legislation including water hygiene.
• Line manage the technical team across training and performance.
• Drive asset management and ongoing improvements across PMs and requests.
