Job summary

Irish Life Group is seeking a Senior Technical Services Lead to drive safe, reliable delivery of hard services across headquarters and regional sites. You will lead building systems, asset lifecycle, and contractor performance while ensuring compliance and an excellent workplace experience.

The role reports to the Senior Facilities / Project Manager, Workplace Services, and requires senior technical leadership with strong collaboration across IT/AV, Health & Safety, Facilities Operations and

Qualifications

• At least five years’ relevant experience in technical services, hard services or building operations.
• Experience leading technicians and managing multidisciplinary contractors.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical and building-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical services function and ensure safe, reliable operation of building assets and systems.
• Manage asset lifecycle strategy with outsourced service provider and ensure compliance.
• Provide technical oversight of M&E infrastructure including HVAC, lighting, fire and life-safety systems.
• Lead Workplace Services technicians, set priorities and support development.
• Oversee contractor management, safety documentation and RAMS.
• Manage maintenance via CAFM/CMMS with KPIs and SLAs.
• Coordinate incident response, root-cause analysis and communications.
• Maintain fire and life-safety arrangements with Health & Safety team.
• Ensure compliance with Irish legislation and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership for facilities projects from design to handover.
• Support event delivery with technical services and AV/IT requirements.
• Oversee budgets, procurement and supplier performance.
