Job summary

Collins McNicholas Group is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to join its Leitrim-based team. The role focuses on selling insulated panels and technical building solutions, managing the full sales cycle and developing key accounts.

Office-based with travel to customer sites as required. You will engage with customers to understand technical requirements, prepare quotations, and collaborate with production and installation teams to deliver projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a B2B/technical sales role.
• Experience in construction products, building materials or related technical industry would be advantageous.
• Experience selling insulated panels or modular building systems would be beneficial.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage existing customer relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness with negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to understand technical products and communicate their features to customers.
• Organised, proactive and self-motivated with ability to manage multiple sales opportunities.
• Office-based environment with regular customer interaction and occasional site visits.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to quotation, negotiation and closing.
• Promote a range of technical building products and solutions (insulated panels, doors, systems).
• Prepare quotations for product supply and larger project-based solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend products.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to develop opportunities.
• Manage and develop existing accounts including repeat business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal production, logistics and project delivery teams.
• Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines and forecasts.
• Monitor market activity and identify opportunities to grow sales and brand awareness.
