Job summary

Saint-Gobain Ireland is seeking a Site Consultant for the Midland Region (Connacht & North Leinster). This remote role based in Ireland focuses on supporting design and build projects with Gyproc, Isover, Vetrotech, and Ecophon.

You will guide specifications, manage risks, and collaborate with contractors to ensure successful delivery. The role requires an engineering or related degree, strong ICT skills, and the ability to engage with architects, engineers, and sites to grow the business and

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Strong ICT skills (MS Office) for design and project documentation.
• Membership of Engineers Ireland or RIAI desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and system recommendations during design, construction, and handover.
• Identify and mitigate risks of specification loss and support commercial negotiations.
• Maintain CRM records and coordinate with internal technical and logistics teams.
• Resolve on-site technical issues and issue warranties where required.
• Build long-term relationships with design-stage decision makers to secure specs.
• Influence architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver CPDs, design support, and digital technical resources as needed.
• Assist with tenders, proposals, and performance data to support pipeline growth.
• Ensure correct installation and interpretation of specified systems on site.
