Job summary

The Panel is seeking a Technical Project Delivery Manager for Dublin (Hybrid) to drive technical transformation in a regulated financial services environment. You will own scope, requirements, and design across the full lifecycle, building strong business cases to secure funding and stakeholder buy‑in for infra, applications, and cloud migrations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in project management (technical and business) within Financial Services.
• Experience with technical transformation and fast-paced delivery.
• PMBOK or PRINCE2 and ITIL certifications.
• Strong track record delivering IT projects including upgrades, migrations, installations.
• Proven ability to build business cases and secure change approvals.
• Experience managing third-party solutions and in-house systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management; able to influence senior leaders.
• Technical knowledge in architecture/SDLC and networking basics.

Technical Project Delivery Manager - Financial Services

Our client is looking to continue it technical transformation. They run a mature, mainly on-prem technology environment and it is important that in this role you are comfortable presenting a business case for change in a company that traditionally takes a considered, careful approach to change.

Responsibilities

• Owning project scope, requirements, and technical design documentation across the full lifecycle
• Building and presenting business cases to secure funding and stakeholder buy-in for infrastructure, application, and cloud migration projects
• Leading 3rd-party solution selection and managing vendor delivery against time, budget, and scope
• Running multiple concurrent projects and prioritising across a busy portfolio
• Owning communication plans, status reporting, and senior stakeholder updates
• Overseeing testing phases and maintaining full project governance (RAID logs, plans, change control)

Experience

• 6+ years' project management (technical and business), technical transformation, or project delivery experience in a fast-paced technical environment, within Financial Services, with certs to include PMBOK or PRINCE2, plus ITIL.
• Strong on delivering & executing IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, implementations & installs.
• Comfortable building business cases and securing approval for technology change.
• Experience managing third-party solution implementations and in-house business systems/applications
• Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable influencing senior, change-cautious leadership
• A good combination of technical/technology skills (and delivering these technical solutions) , including:
• A. Software architecture/SDLC knowledge
• B. Strong IT infrastructure background with good understanding of networking, including network topology design
