Job summary

The Panel is seeking a Technical Delivery Project Manager in Ireland to lead complex technical delivery programs. This hands-on role covers architecture reviews, vendor management, and governance across multiple projects in a fast-paced financial services environment.

You will own scope, requirements, and design artifacts, guiding architecture decisions and coordinating with senior stakeholders. The role demands a strong background in IT infrastructure, SDLC, and networking.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project management and technical delivery experience in fast-paced environments.
• PMBOK or PRINCE2 certification plus ITIL.
• Experience managing third-party solution implementations and in-house systems/applications.
• Strong combination of technical and architecture/SDLC knowledge; solid networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Own project scope, requirements, and technical design across the full lifecycle.
• Guide architecture decisions and assess technical risk on live projects.
• Lead third-party solution selection and manage vendor delivery against time, budget, and scope.
• Run multiple concurrent projects and prioritize across a busy portfolio.
• Own communication plans, status reporting, and senior stakeholder updates.
• Oversee testing phases and maintain full project governance (RAID logs, plans, change control).

We're partnering exclusively with a financial services organisation on a newly created Technical Delivery Project Manager role.

This is a hands-on delivery role and is ideal for someone who's as comfortable in an architecture review as they are running a vendor selection process or chairing a steering group. This role offers alot of variety - spanning infrastructure, architecture, vendor management, and delivery

Responsibilities

• Owning project scope, requirements, and technical design documentation across the full lifecycle
• Guiding architecture decisions and assessing technical risk on live projects.
• Leading 3rd-party solution selection and managing vendor delivery against time, budget, and scope.
• Running multiple concurrent projects and prioritising across a busy portfolio
• Owning communication plans, status reporting, and senior stakeholder updates.
• Overseeing testing phases and maintaining full project governance (RAID logs, plans, change control).

Experience

• 6+ years' project management, technical transformation, project delivery experience in a fast paced technical environment and certs to include PMBOK or PRINCE2 certified, plus ITIL.
• managing third-party solution implementations and inhouse business systems/applications.
• A track record of delivering technical solutions in ambiguous, complex environments.
• Good combination of technical - Technology including -

A. software architecture/SDLC knowledge.

B. strong IT infrastructure backgroud.

C. Solid networking skills, including network topology design.
