Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, with proven experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience across full-stack software development.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing software engineers in a high-performing tech environment.
• Experience developing, scaling and supporting large SaaS platforms or comparable enterprise software.
• Solid understanding of Agile software development and customer-focused product delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple technical and business priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Experience building an engineering culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
• Prior experience in financial services or large-scale tech environments.
• Product Owner experience or strong understanding of product-led development.
• Experience with Agile coaching, software delivery or engineering transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and vulnerability management.
• Additional language skills are advantageous.

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing engineering team, creating clear development pathways and supporting individual career progression.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative and accountable engineering culture with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Work closely with technical specialists and wider business teams to design and deliver robust, scalable and resilient software solutions.

Educational Requirements
