The successful candidate will work with business stakeholders, analysts, and tech teams in a hybrid environment requiring 2 days on-site in Dublin. 5+ years in VB.NET and SQL Server are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience developing applications using VB.NET.
• 5+ years' experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimizing stored procedures.
• Strong experience supporting and enhancing business-critical enterprise applications.
• Experience troubleshooting complex application and database issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance functionality within the Corporate Deposits application.
• Support the delivery of AMLR programme requirements, including application enhancements, workflow changes, and user interface updates.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server database objects, including stored procedures, views, and queries.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring application stability and performance.
• Collaborate with business users and project stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release activities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and support activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the application estate.

You will be focused on supporting a key Corporate Deposits platform, a business-critical in-house application. The platform is a highly configurable and complex banking application that continues to play a key role in delivering deposit services. The successful candidate will contribute to both the ongoing support and enhancement of the application, while helping deliver significant regulatory changes as part of the AMLR programme. This role offers the opportunity to work on a critical banking system, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a regulated environment.
