Job summary

Kilkenny Design in Newbridge is seeking a Team Lead on a fixed term contract from September 2026 to January 2027. The role requires a dynamic and customer‑focused leader to motivate the jewellery team and deliver an exceptional shopper experience.

• Keep the shop floor running smoothly and maintain store standards.
• Stock replenishment and product presentation.
• Maximise sales through upselling and link selling.
• Be aware of store targets and KPIs such as Sales and Conversion.
• Provide feedback to management and communicate effectively.
• Open/close the store and manage keys.
• Handle cash from POS to cash collection.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have full flexibility and availability across the working week. Hours are rostered on a rotating schedule including weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evening shifts.

About You

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and customer focused team lead to join our team. With a strong background in jewellery sales and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service, you will play an important role in motivating the team while driving sales and creating an outstanding customer experience. Your jewellery knowledge will enable you to engage with customers, share your product expertise and ensure every customer receives a memorable experience.

You will also:

• Have great communication and organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly and ensuring general store standards and stock replenishment are carried out/maintained.
• Be collaborative in your nature, and thrive as part of a team, building relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
• Maximise the sales potential of the store and enjoy the thrill of achieving sales targets through link selling and upselling our products and services.
• Make yourself aware of store targets and KPI's such as Sales, ATV, conversion and IPT.
• Continuously communicate, support and provide feedback to your management team.
• Opening/closing the store with the responsibility of the keys.
• Cash management from the point of sales to the collection of cash.
