Job summary

Kilkenny Design is opening a Christmas pop-up at Kildare Village Outlet. We seek a Team Lead to guide a high performing team, drive sales and deliver outstanding customer experiences during the September 2026 to January 2027 fixed-term contract.

You will supervise daily operations, roster shifts across weekdays, weekends, daytime and evening hours, and take responsibility for keys and cash handling. Working closely with management, you will maintain store standards, replenish stock, nurture

• Experience leading a retail team on fast-paced environments.
• Ability to drive sales and achieve targets through upselling and cross-selling.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team on a Christmas pop-up.

• Open/close the store and manage cash when required.
• Work towards store targets and KPIs (Sales, ATV, conversion, IPT).

Role: Team Lead

Fixed term contract, September 2026 to January 2027

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have full flexibility and availability across the working week. Hours are rostered on a rotating schedule including weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evening shifts.

About You

We are seeking an energetic and passionate individual who thrives on leading and developing a high performing team, driving sales performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience through strong brand values. Working closely with the management team you will support the day-to-day running of the store, including team supervision.

You will also:

• Have great communication and organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly and ensuring general store standards and stock replenishment are carried out/maintained.
• Be collaborative in your nature, and thrive as part of a team, building relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
• Maximise the sales potential of the store and enjoy the thrill of achieving sales targets through link selling and upselling our products and services.
• Make yourself aware of store targets and KPI's such as Sales, ATV, conversion and IPT.
• Continuously communicate, support and provide feedback to your management team.
• Opening/closing the store with the responsibility of the keys.
• Cash management from the point of sales to the collection of cash.
