Job summary

SimoTech is seeking a driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit exceptional engineering and life sciences talent. You will source, attract, and manage candidates through the full lifecycle, building strong pipelines and partnering with hiring managers to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes.

In this role you will engage passive candidates, optimise sourcing strategies, and ensure a top-notch candidate experience from first contact to onboarding, contributing to SimoTech's growth and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, science, engineering, or related discipline.
• 4+ years' experience in Talent Acquisition, Technical Recruitment, or Executive Search.
• Proven ability to source and recruit niche technical, engineering, or life sciences talent.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical/engineering roles in Life Sciences sectors.
• Source and engage high-calibre, hard-to-find talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, networking, referrals.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across multiple projects.
• Develop relationships with hiring managers and candidates to understand requirements and deliver recruitment solutions.

The successful candidate willbe responsible for sourcing, attracting, and managing niche engineering andlife sciences professionals throughout the recruitment lifecycle. You will playa critical role in building talent pipelines, engaging passive candidates,partnering with hiring managers, and ensuring an outstanding candidateexperience from initial contact through to successful onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle fortechnical and engineering positions within the Life Sciences sector.
  
• Proactively source and engage high-calibre,hard-to-find technical talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant trackingsystems, networking, referrals, and other innovative sourcing strategies.
  
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines forcritical and future hiring needs across multiple client projects.
  
• Demonstrate persistence and creativity whenidentifying and engaging passive candidates in niche skill areas.
  
• Develop trusted relationships with hiringmanagers, candidates, and key stakeholders to understand hiring requirementsand deliver recruitment solutions.
  
• Conduct detailed candidate screening andcompetency-based interviews, assessing technical capability, experience, andcultural fit.
  
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managerswith clear and concise recommendations.
  
• Continuously research industry trends, talentlandscapes, competitor activity, and market conditions to support proactivetalent attraction strategies.
  
• Deliver a best-in-class candidate experiencethrough clear, professional, and timely communication throughout therecruitment process.
  
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruitmentdata within ATS and reporting systems, ensuring a high level of data integrityand attention to detail.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’sdegree in business, Human Resources, Science, Engineering, or a relateddiscipline preferred.
  
• 4+ years'experience in Talent Acquisition, Technical Recruitment, or Executive Search.
  
• Demonstratedsuccess sourcing and recruiting niche technical, engineering, or life sciencestalent.
  
• Strongknowledge of sourcing methodologies, talent mapping, Boolean searching,LinkedIn Recruiter, and applicant tracking systems.
  
• Excellentorganisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability tomanage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  
• Resilient,driven, and self-motivated, with a proven ability to persevere and deliverresults in competitive talent markets.
  
• Strongcommunication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to buildcredibility and influence at all levels.
  
• Experiencerecruiting within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, orEngineering sectors would be a distinct advantage.
