Job summary

Office Buddies in Dublin 12 is seeking a Systems Optimisation Specialist to streamline processes across departments, reducing manual work and improving data integrity. You will review workflows, document requirements, coordinate with IT, Finance and suppliers, and support users.

The role focuses on data cleansing, reporting, and automation with Excel, Power BI, Tulip and Sage Intacct. Interest in AI optimisation is desirable and you will build dashboards for timely metrics and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Experience improving business systems, data or processes in manufacturing, operations, finance or procurement
• Experience building reports from multiple sources and ensuring data accuracy
• Ability to gather requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams and test solutions
• Understanding of confidential data, permissions and financial controls
• Experience with AI tooling in a business setting is desirable

Responsibilities

• Review current workflows across operational, finance and procurement systems, identify duplicated entry, manual work and gaps in data
• Improve system use and integration by documenting requirements, coordinating with IT, Finance and suppliers, testing changes and supporting users
• Maintain clear processes for system changes, data ownership and reporting so improvements remain reliable over time.
• Cleanse and standardise data including product, item, supplier and reporting records, with appropriate checks and an audit trail for change
• Build accessible reports and dashboards that give managers accurate, timely operational and financial information
• Reduce manual reporting through repeatable data preparation, reconciliations and agreed definitions for key measures
• Develop and maintain automated planning reports or Excel tools
• Assess AI and automation opportunities for feasibility, data quality, security, cost and measurable benefit before recommending implementation

Role: Systems optimisation specialist

Location: Dublin 12

Salary: 60-70k D.O.E

We are looking for a capable and experienced Systems Optimisation Specialist for one of our clients based on Dublin 12. As System Optimisation Specialist you will be responsible for the streamlining of processes to ensure maximum efficiency across departments to reduce manual labour. Interest in AI optimisation is also desirable.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Review current workflows across operational, finance and procurement
  systems, identify duplicated entry, manual work and gaps in data


• Improve system use and integration by documenting requirements, coordinating
  with IT, Finance and suppliers, testing changes and supporting users

Requirements:

  comparable tools


• Experience building reports from multiple sources and checking data accuracy


• Ability to gather requirements, work with different teams, test solutions and
  explain technical changes clearly


• Understanding of confidential data, permissions and financial or purchasing
  controls


• Experience with Tulip, Sage Intacct or a similar manufacturing platform, Power
  BI, ERP or automation tools


• Experience applying AI tools in a business environment is desirable
