Praxis Care is seeking a Support Worker for the Cork region to join a team delivering person-centred care. The role focuses on empowering individuals, promoting independence, and maintaining dignity within a supportive environment.

We offer flexible patterns (full-time, part-time, relief) with salaries based on 39 hours FTE and pro-rated. Sleep-in allowances apply where required, and a strong emphasis on training and policy adherence.

Qualifikationen

• Essential numeracy and literacy skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Desirable: experience in health and social care.

Aufgaben

• Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Work closely with Team Leaders and managers to prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
• Collaborate with other Support Workers and Team Leaders to promote a safe working and living environment, resolving situations with appropriate techniques.
• Ensure that medication is stored and administered in accordance with policy where necessary.
• Familiarize yourself with administrative requirements and ensure accurate records per guidelines.
• Be aware of all service policies and participate in related training.
