Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking a fixed term Support Worker for a 3-month period (ROI). The role supports individuals in developing independent living skills, working with Team Leaders, ensuring safety and compliance with policies, and delivering person-centred care.

The job offers flexible patterns (full time, part time, relief) with 39-hour base and pro rata salaries; sleep-ins pay at least €101.60 per night. Applicants must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop independent living skills.
• Prepare and implement individual and group support programmes with Team Leaders.
• Promote a safe working environment and manage conflict using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure medication is stored and administered per policy where necessary.
• Record and log information according to service reporting guidelines.
• Be familiar with policies and participate in related training.
