Kerry Parents and Friends Association in Kilcummin, Co. Kerry, is seeking a part-time Support Worker to empower adults with intellectual disabilities.

You will plan goals, support independence, document care plans, and work with healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of personal and community living. The role requires QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent), good communication, GDPR awareness, and the ability to balance daily activities with person-centred approaches.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience documenting care plans and reports is desirable.
• Strong communication skills with individuals, families and professionals.
• Understanding of rights-based, person-centred support approaches.
• Ability to work within GDPR requirements and maintain records.
