Job summary

The Rehab Group is seeking a Care Worker for Kilcummin Residential Service in Kilcummin, Co Kerry. This permanent role is 18.5 hours per week and involves providing personal care with a focus on dignity and community inclusion.

Applicants should have QQI Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent, a full clean driving licence, and be able to work effectively in a team delivering person-centered support to service users.

Qualifications

• Minimum of QQI Level 5 in Social Care, or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in a team providing person centered support for service users.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of service users at all times.
• Full Clean Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork and create a nurturing environment for the service user.
• Facilitate and implement a person centered service tailored to service users' needs and wishes.
• Ensure interactions with service users are conducted with dignity, respect and equality, incorporating choice.
