Kerry Parents & Friends Association (KPFA) is seeking a Social Care Worker for our Killarney Residential Services. The role focuses on delivering person-centred support and advocacy to adults with intellectual disabilities in a rights-based setting.

Responsibilities include promoting independence, working as part of a team, and ensuring high standards of care with proper documentation. Eligible applicants must meet CORU registration requirements and ongoing annual registration.

Qualifications

• Hold professional registration, or be eligible for registration, on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support and advocacy aligned to each individual’s goals and rights.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills and community inclusion.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and external agencies; maintain accurate records and risk assessments.
