Zusammenfassung

Muiríosa Foundation is recruiting a Support Worker to join the Kildare Day Services team. The role focuses on enabling individuals with intellectual disabilities to live independently, engage with the community and maintain personal health and wellbeing.

Applicants should have QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualifications or be willing to undertake training. A valid manual driving licence in Ireland is required, and experience with diverse support needs is highly desirable.

Qualifikationen

• FETAC/QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support or Health Service Skills, or equivalent.
• Willingness to undertake QQI Level 5 training.
• Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards and Person Centred Plans.

Aufgaben

• Support individuals within Kildare Day Services with independent living skills and community inclusion.
• Encourage and motivate individuals to pursue personal interests and life goals.
• Work as part of a dynamic team to promote health, wellbeing and daily living skills.
