Job summary

DAFFODIL CARE GROUP via ARCS is recruiting for full-time, part-time and relief Support Workers for their Autism and Disabilities centre based in Clogheen and Bansha, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.

You will be part of a team delivering high-quality supportive care to young people in a residential setting. In this role, you will work under the Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead to create a safe, welcoming environment, participate in ongoing training and development, and uphold our ethos and therapeutic

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 5 Major Award in the care sector.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience with vulnerable young people and families in community or residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day activities in the residential centre.
• Work with Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead to deliver therapeutic residential services.
• Contribute to a warm, accepting and secure environment for service users.

ARCS are currently recruiting for Full Time, Part Time & Relief Support Workers for their Autism and Disabilities centre based in Clogheen, & Bansha, Co. Tipperary.

Who we are -

As a Support Worker and working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential centre and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.

What we can offer you:

• Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Support Workers of €37,000 - €40,000 annually (depending on experience)

• inclusive of sleeping time and premiums.

• Incremental salary scale

• Combination of shifts patterns i.e. sleepover, day shifts, Live waking night shifts.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Support workers require a minimum of a Level 5 Major Award qualification in the care sector.

• A full driving license

• Experience of working with vulnerable young people and youth and families in the community or residential setting
