Job summary

Daffodil Care Group is recruiting Social Care Workers for its autism and disability centres in Tipperary. The role involves day-to-day residential care, collaboration with team leaders, and delivering high-quality therapeutic services to young people.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care settings preferred.
• “CORU registration eligibility” is required or eligible.
• A full Irish driving license is mandatory.
• Ability to work in a team and follow leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care in a residential centre.
• Work closely with Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead.
• Maintain a warm, accepting and secure environment for service users.
• Contribute to delivery of therapeutic residential services.

Social Care Worker

ARCS are currently recruiting for Full Time, Part Time & Relief Social Care Workers for their Autism and Disabilities centre based in Clogheen & Bansha, Co. Tipperary.

Who we are -

As a Social Care Worker and working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential centre and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.

What we can offer you:

• Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Social Care Workers €39,567 - €42,895 per annum for SCW (depending on experience)

• inclusive of sleeping time and premiums.

• Incremental salary scale

• Combination of shifts patterns i.e. sleepover shifts, day shifts, Live waking night shifts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Psychology

• Professional Practice Qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy

• Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling / Psychotherapy

• Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction Counselling

• Youth and Community or similar

• Social Science / Social Studies

• Family Support

• Teaching (Not TEFL)

• Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies
