ARCS are currently recruiting for Full Time, Part Time & Relief Social Care Workers for their Autism and Disabilities centre based in Clogheen & Bansha, Co. Tipperary.
Who we are -
As a Social Care Worker and working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential centre and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.
What we can offer you:
Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Social Care Workers €39,567 - €42,895 per annum for SCW (depending on experience)
inclusive of sleeping time and premiums.
Incremental salary scale
Combination of shifts patterns i.e. sleepover shifts, day shifts, Live waking night shifts.

Qualifications & Experience
Psychology
Professional Practice Qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling / Psychotherapy
Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction Counselling
Youth and Community or similar
Social Science / Social Studies
Family Support
Teaching (Not TEFL)
Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies
Disability Studies
Applied Behavioural Analysis
BA in Applied Policing or equivalent
Holder of Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent
OR
If you are eligible to register as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
A full Irish Drivers license is a mandatory requirement for this position.
