Job summary

Jobtailor in Ireland is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to coordinate shipments, plan routes, and ensure SLAs are met. You will liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to optimise resources and maintain compliance with EU regulations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in transport planning, strong IT skills (Office 365, SharePoint), and a proven ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in transport planning or logistics coordination.
• Experience in logistics including white glove services is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office 365 and MS SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan shipments and routes to meet client SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with EU working time and road safety regulations.
• Monitor in-transit shipments and provide updates.
• Update milestones according to SLAs.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Report schedules to clients and teams accurately.
• Manage proofs of delivery and activity.
• Plan vehicle and maintenance schedules.
• Plan workloads for drivers to minimise empty runs.
• Work with planning team and cross-train colleagues.
• Assist accounts for accurate billing.
• Maintain FB and L15 trackers.
• Process customer emails and booking steps.
• Close out jobs in Stratum system.
