Job summary

Sunbeam House Services is seeking an experienced Training & Development Manager to lead the Learning & Development function and shape workforce development across the organisation.

The role focuses on strategic training, governance and quality improvement, ensuring staff have the knowledge and confidence to deliver high-quality, person-centred services. Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning and development within health or social care settings.
• Strong leadership, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory training requirements and quality assurance.
• Experience leading learning programmes, projects or teams.
• Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Training Department to support organisational goals.
• Design, implement and evaluate learning and development programmes.
• Ensure mandatory, statutory and role-specific training is delivered.
• Drive quality assurance, governance and continuous service improvement.
• Use data and feedback to identify trends and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to support service excellence.
