Job summary

Charles River Development, the FinTech division of State Street, seeks a mid‑level Technical Delivery Manager to lead delivery for a major department within CRD/Alpha Platform Engineering. This strategic role reports to the Head of Engineering Delivery and focuses on establishing delivery execution models for programs over $50MM, aligning headcount and budgets with the strategic vision.

The successful candidate will drive agile execution, capacity planning, KPI governance, and vendor management

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading engineering delivery or large global organizations.
• Experience managing portfolios >$20MM including governance, planning and resources.
• Proven ability to influence decision-making in a matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
• Practical knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Book of Work management including planning and governance across executive forums.
• Provide engineering delivery oversight to ensure SDLC adherence and agile best practices.
• Define program requirements with Engineering leadership and Product owners; set priorities and scope.
• Develop plans/roadmaps, identify and elevate risk to the portfolio; enable organizational change management.
