Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of professional Java development experience, ideally with Spring Boot.
• 2–4 years of experience developing modern web applications with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong relational database experience: data modelling, SQL, optimisation, indexing, transactions, performance.
• Experience with OO design, RESTful APIs, automated testing and code-review practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, test, and support software enhancements across Alpha/CRD modules and shared frameworks.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Product Managers and engineers to deliver simple, sustainable solutions to problems.
• Lead investigation and resolution of complex technical issues in client implementations.
• Develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, TS/JS, SQL; some exposure to C#/.NET is a plus.
• Design and maintain relational database schemas, SQL queries, and data transformations for performance and integrity.
• Ensure quality through reviews, unit/integration tests, and validation; follow enterprise standards.
