Job summary

AbbVie in Ireland is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end-to-end recruitment for assigned requisitions, partnering with HRBP and hiring managers. You will design branded sourcing strategies and manage intake meetings, interviews, and regular candidate communication to deliver best-in-class service.

The role focuses on high-volume recruitment in the pharmaceutical/medical devices arena, engaging multiple stakeholders and supporting colleagues across Ireland with a strong customer

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification.
• Previous recruitment experience (in-house or 3rd party agency).
• Successful track record of high-volume recruiting, ideally in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industries.
• Demonstrated customer focus and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to use initiative and work in a fast-paced environment, while delivering best-in-class service.
• Track record of building strong professional relationships both internally and externally.
• Team player who is willing to support colleagues as required.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process for all assigned requisitions, from intake meetings with hiring managers through to offer and onboarding.
• Engage with HR Business Partners and hiring managers in relation to current and future recruitment requirements.
• Design and deliver branded sourcing strategies internally and externally to attract top talent into the organization for site specific initiatives.
• Manage intake meetings with hiring managers, while also ensuring that a clear plan is put in place around requirements, interview panel and timeframes.
• Screen and shortlist suitable candidates via telephone, video and onsite interviews.
• Ensure that communication with candidates and hiring managers is regular throughout the entire recruitment process.
• Partner with 3rd party recruitment agencies to identify suitable candidates for AbbVie.
• Participate in TA related projects and initiatives.
• Work to agreed SLA’s and processes in order to fill requisitions in a timely manner.
• Attend recruitment career fairs and events as required.
