Job summary

Weir & Sons in Dublin is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract, source, and hire top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. You will partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, build talent pipelines, and support employer branding and workforce planning.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, prepare offers, monitor KPIs, and ensure GDPR/compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in talent acquisition or resourcing.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment.
• Strong direct sourcing and candidate engagement.
• Experience across multiple functions and levels.
• Excellent interviewing, assessment, and selection skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy approval through onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and workforce planning needs.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
• Create compelling job advertisements and manage postings across channels.
• Actively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and referrals.
• Screen applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidate fit.
• Coordinate and facilitate interviews with stakeholders.
• Manage candidate communications and offer letters/contracts.
• Support salary benchmarking and onboarding activities.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and promote continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and employment legislation.
