Job summary

RTÉ, Ireland's national public‑service media organisation, seeks an experienced HR Manager to support Production and Media Services and Technology. You will partner with leaders to deliver HR across recruitment, onboarding, ER/IR, and engagement, ensuring policy alignment with Irish law and union agreements.

You will report to the Divisional Head of HR, provide strategic and operational HR support and drive key HR metrics with timely reports, while building trusted relationships across RTÉ's

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a HR Manager or HR business partner role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing complex employee relations issues and advising on HR matters.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in a unionised environment and HR policy compliance.
• CIPD qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to deliver HR support across talent management, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, industrial relations, compensation and benefits, engagement and performance.
• Provide expert guidance on policies and Irish employment law.
• Develop HR reports, validate data, and present insights on time.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and resolve inquiries within tight timelines.
• Identify training needs and support compliance requirements.
• Advise on investigations, performance processes and staffing decisions.
• Collaborate with Head of HR on strategic projects.
