Job summary

Actavo is seeking a Senior Bid Specialist to develop and coordinate large bid activities across multiple sectors in Ireland. You will work with operations and commercial teams to craft high-quality bid content and manage the end-to-end bid development process.

The role requires strong organisation, 3–5 years in a similar bid role, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and tender portals. You will engage with multiple stakeholders to deliver compelling proposals and ensure timely submissions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in a similar bid-writing/coordination role.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Familiarity with e-tenders and submission portals.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end bid writing and coordination for medium to large opportunities.
• Coordinate bid meetings, track documents, and ensure timely submissions.
• Work with Bid Director to define proposal concept from RFIs and RFPs.
• Translate technical input into clear sales documents.
• Collaborate with engineering and programme teams for input.
• Ensure bid schedules and governance approvals are met.
• Log and track RFIs, PQQs, RFPs, ITTs for each opportunity.
• Maintain templates and writing standards for readability and consistency.
• Prepare presentation materials and oversee printing and delivery.
• Pursue ongoing knowledge through education and networking.
