Job summary

Datadog is seeking an Account Executive on our Commercial Sales team to drive growth by engaging and closing net-new customers across small to midsize markets. You will follow a defined methodology, map customer needs to Datadog's observability platform, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to win deals.

This role embraces a hybrid work model to balance collaboration with focused work. You will learn product and sales techniques, participate in MEDDIC and other trainings, and progress

Qualifications

• Curious, driven, and motivated as a salesperson.
• Creative in mapping and breaking into accounts.

• Comfortable in a highly technical, fast-paced environment.
• Experienced in carrying quota with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Focus on net-new logo acquisition via outbound activity.
• Become a Datadog expert through product and sales trainings.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including demos and negotiation.
• Collaborate with Sales Development Reps to drive top-of-funnel activity.
• Prospect into CTOs, IT leaders, and technical end-users.
