Job summary

Actavo seeks a Stores Controller in Charleville, Ireland, to manage incoming and outgoing stock and maintain stock levels in a compliant stores area. A full, clean driving license is required for the role and forklift accreditation is essential.

The position involves loading/unloading stock, delivering stock to depots and crews, and maintaining accurate weekly stock reports. The candidate should have SAP stock control knowledge and strong organisational skills to support safety and efficiency

Qualifications

• Must have CSCS forklift accreditation.
• Class B driving licence and Safe Pass required.
• Experience in stock control and SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and lead by example.
• Organise and maintain stores area to a high standard.
• Record all incoming and outgoing stock accurately.
• Manage stock reordering and maintain minimum stock levels.
• Load and unload stock; deliver between depot and crews in a timely manner.
• Compile and present weekly stock reports.
• Provide guidance to personnel working in stores.

The key focus will be to control both the incoming and outgoing stock and stock levels in the stores area. A full, current and clean driving license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work. Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you
• Organising and maintaining stores area to a high standard
• Organising and recording all incoming and outgoing stock
• Accountable for reordering of all stock and maintaining minimum stock levels
• Responsible for loading and unloading of all stock
• Responsible for delivering stock between depot & crews in the field in a timely manner
• Documentation and compilation of accurate weekly stock reports
• Answerable for personnel and team members operating in the stores area

Requirements

• CSCS accredited for operating a forklift truck
• Class B driving licence
• Safe Pass
• Previous related experience required
• Stock control systems knowledge: SAP systems etc
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills required
• Ability to represent the company in a professional manner always
• Responsible and dependable
• Initiative to take ownership of potential process weaknesses and identify corrective actions
