Salary: Up to €40,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday | Flexible start/finish times for the right candidate

Perform Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced and organised Stores Person on behalf of a well‑established business within the machinery and equipment sector based in Co. Meath.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong computer skills, good attention to detail, and experience working in a busy warehouse, retail, stock control, or parts environment. The successful candidate will become an important part of a supportive team in a stable, long‑term role.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and organising incoming deliveries
• Picking and preparing orders for customers and internal departments
• Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control
• Using computer systems for stock management, orders, and invoicing
• Assisting with parts and product queries from customers and colleagues
• Ensuring the store's area is clean, organised, and operating efficiently
• Supporting the wider team with goods dispatch and supplier returns
• Assisting with day-to-day operational duties as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a store, warehouse, stock control, or parts role
• Strong computer and administrative skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, proactive, and hands‑on approach
• Experience within machinery, automotive, agricultural, construction, or technical sectors would be an advantage, but is not essential
