COPE Galway is seeking a Storeroom Assistant to take responsibility for the day-to-day organisation and operation of the clothing and bric-a-brac storeroom across our two charity shops in Galway.

This hands-on role involves sorting, pricing and preparing donated stock, coordinating volunteers, and occasional shop-floor duties including opening and closing the shop and operating the till. The role supports two shops: Newtownsmith and St Augustine Street.

• Organised, reliable and practical approach to daily tasks.
• Good communication and ability to coordinate volunteers.
• Confident with cash handling and till operation.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Friendly, respectful approach to customers, donors, volunteers and colleagues.
• Experience in stockroom, retail, charity retail or warehouse operations.
• Experience supervising or coordinating volunteers.
• Experience sorting, pricing and processing donated goods.
