Job summary

SuperValu Celbridge is seeking a capable Store Manager to run daily operations, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure fresh, high-quality customer service in a busy grocery environment. You will lead by example, monitor KPIs and margins, and ensure the correct range and planograms are in place.

This full-time role requires 39 hours per week with weekend work and late openings. Strong Excel skills and a passion for grocery retail are essential for success in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a management position.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience balancing cash/tills.
• KPI and targets achievement skills.
• Commercial mindset and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Set and monitor sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs.
• Implement planograms correctly and ensure the correct range in store.
• Merchandise and present the store to the highest standard.

• Promote communication between employees and management in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Support Store Manager in development and training of the team.
• Manage employee performance with regular feedback and recognition.
• Handle customer queries professionally and in line with store policy.
• Understand margins across departments and explore new initiatives.
