Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Staffing Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Ireland. The role focuses on attracting, recruiting, onboarding and deploying a high-volume workforce for a major event, balancing strategy and delivery.

Location is No Fixed Place, Ireland, with a salary of €52,500 per year. You will lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and compliance while partnering with operational leaders and external partners to build engaged teams and ensure staffing plans are delivered

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing or workforce planning.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Experience managing high-volume recruitment campaigns.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.
• Desirable: experience in hospitality or events or large-scale operations.
• Experience working with large temporary or casual workforces.
• Knowledge of workforce planning and labour forecasting.
• Experience supporting mobilisation or change projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns across operational, management and specialist roles.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to meet business needs.
• Develop attraction strategies using job boards, social media, networking and partnerships.
• Forecast staffing requirements and support workforce planning.
• Manage agency relationships and recruitment suppliers.
• Ensure recruitment activity complies with employment legislation and company policy.
• Oversee Right to Work documentation, references and pre-employment screening.
• Maintain accurate employee records and workforce data.
• Support audit and compliance requirements across the recruitment lifecycle.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes.
• Support completion of mandatory training requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to identify workforce development needs.
• Champion a positive candidate and employee experience.
• Collaborate with business leaders to deliver workforce plans.
• Monitor staffing levels and address resourcing challenges.
• Support mobilisation activities of the event contract.
• Provide recruitment insight, reporting and recommendations.
