Job summary

Excel Recruitment is recruiting experienced Event Staff for the Irish Open 2026 in Doonbeg, Co. Clare. You will work in premium hospitality environments, including VIP areas, corporate suites, bars and cafés, supporting guests and event operations.

The role requires strong customer service, flexibility and reliable attendance from 8th to 13th September 2026, with transport provided as needed. Previously in hospitality or catering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or events experience is required.
• Ability to deliver high-quality guest service in premium settings.
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to guests, sponsors and attendees.
• Serve food and beverages per event standards.
• Assist VIP hospitality and corporate entertaining areas.
• Set up and maintain service stations throughout the event.
• Clear tables and maintain presentation standards.
• Support event operations and guest flow management.
• Follow health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
• Work with supervisors and hospitality management teams.

We are seeking enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused individuals to support hospitality operations throughout this high-profile international event. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within premium hospitality environments, including VIP areas, corporate hospitality suites, bars,cafés, and guest service locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to guests, sponsors, and event attendees
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with event standards
• Assist with VIP hospitality and corporate entertaining areas
• Set up and maintain service stations throughout the event
• Clear tables and maintain presentation standards
• Support event operations and guest flow management
• Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures
• Work closely with supervisors and hospitality management teams

Requirements

• Previous hospitality, events, catering, hotel, restaurant, or stadium experience essential
• Experience in food service, bar service, waiting, or customer-facing roles preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional presentation and excellent customer service manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment
• Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
• Must be available from8thto13thSeptember 2026
• Own transport is not neccessary as transport will be provided
• Ideal Candidates Will Have
• Experience in large-scale sporting, corporate, or hospitality events
• VIP or corporate hospitality experience
• Silver service experience (advantageous)
• Bar service experience (advantageous)
• HACCP/Food Safety certification (desirable)
