Job summary

Ethos Care Group is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a nursing home in Ireland. You will lead by example, ensuring residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining clinical practice to the highest standards.

The role requires a Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI PIN, eligibility to work in Ireland, and a commitment to HIQA standards.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI PIN.
• Experience in nursing home/older persons care desirable.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred care practices advantageous.
• Excellent clinical, communication and documentation skills.
• Strong teamwork and organisational abilities.
• Flexible to work a range of shifts across a 7-day roster.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care while promoting residents' dignity, independence and respect.
• Support, mentor and supervise healthcare assistants and care staff.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records.
• Assist with audits, inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for residents.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a supportive nursing home environment. You will lead by example, ensuring residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.This role is ideally suited to nurses currently living in Ireland who have relevant clinical experience and are passionate about providing exceptional care to older persons.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Previous nursing home, older persons' care, rehabilitation or acute hospital experience desirable

• Strong teamwork and organisational abilities
• Passionate about caring for older people and enhancing quality of life
• Flexible to work a range of shifts, including days, nights and weekends across a 7-day roster
