Job summary

Ethos Care Group is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a nursing home setting in Ireland. You will lead by example, ensuring residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining top clinical standards.

The ideal candidate will be an Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI PIN, living in Ireland and eligible to work here. Experience in older persons' care and HIQA knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI PIN.
• Currently living in Ireland and eligible to work in Ireland.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred care practices is advantageous.
• Excellent clinical, communication and documentation skills.
• Flexible to work a range of shifts, including days, nights and weekends across a 7‑day roster.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent nursing care while promoting residents' dignity, independence and respect
• Support, mentor and supervise healthcare assistants and care staff
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records
• Assist with audits, inspections and quality improvement initiatives
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for residents

You will lead by example, ensuring residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.This role is ideally suited to nurses currently living in Ireland who have relevant clinical experience and are passionate about providing exceptional care to older persons.
