Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Ireland in Limerick seeks a Staff Automation Engineer to lead automation projects, design reviews, and continuous improvements. The role partners with operations, quality, and engineering to deliver robust, future-ready automation solutions at the Limerick site.

You will develop control software, mentor junior engineers, and work in a highly automated environment with state-of-the-art equipment and safety standards. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent and extensive automation experience.
• 9–10 years proven track record with automated control systems.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, and data analytics.

Responsabilidades

• Provide automation expertise at design review stage and document URS, FDS, SAT, FAT.
• Develop machine control software including servo, pneumatic, safety, electrical, and data control.
• Mentor team members and support CAPAs.
• Analyze, fault-find and modify automation software.
• Deliver projects on time with required quality standards.
